Get started in minutes

Download the DMG, install, and start downloading videos.

1Install Clipper

Download the DMG, open it, and drag Clipper to your Applications folder.

2Install dependencies

Clipper needs yt-dlp and ffmpeg to work. Install them with Homebrew:

brew install yt-dlp ffmpeg

Don't have Homebrew? Install it from brew.sh

3First launch

On first launch, macOS may show a Gatekeeper prompt since Clipper is distributed outside the App Store. Right-click the app and select “Open” to bypass this. You only need to do this once.
